A series of odd and annoying events
when you think it’s all over, it started once again
just when you closed the door the window starts to open
when you finally reach the finish
only to realize you made a wrong turn
when you just entered the court
then to find it adjourned
When you wake up early so not to be late
and find it’s a holiday, according to the date
when you gave it your all
then see that a little was enough
when you waited before finally doing
that which wasn’t that tough
when things don’t work out according to plan
when the bitter world becomes like flan
sweet and sticky and not really what it is
my friend, it’s just a state of mind
whatever, whenever, whoever it is
same species may not be the same kind
